Nicholas Mehrle

Nicholas is currently a 1st year graduate student at MIT, where he studies physics, specifically astronomy and astrophysics. He is currently interested in many topics, most notably exoplanets.


Nicholas graduated from Johns Hopkins University in May 2016 with an MA in Physics and Astronomy and a BS in Physics with additional majors in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics & Statistics.

Previous Work

Nicholas has had a number of jobs, most recently working for the University of Maryland's Astronomy Dept as a web developer for the Astronomy Workshop Extragalactic project. Before that he worked for Optiver as a derivatives market maker, and has had internships at CERN and the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory.
